BA SOLO EXHIBITION ATHENS

Ba introduced the collection to Athens, Greece including new handmade pieces created this year in Egypt. The show was held in Alkinois, an independent project space based in a former furniture factory in Athens, Greece.
The designs @baatelier_, are based on the artist's analog collages @sb126, and handwoven in Egypt. Signed, limited edition art prints on Japanese Tesuki-Washi Fine Art paper were also on display.
Ba kilims are woven in Atfeeh. a rural village 100km south of Cairo. Salma collaborates closely with the weavers who work from a well-run, purpose-built workshop, operated by a local NGO charity
