The Colombia series was designed during a visit to the country, earlier this year, drawing from rhythms in nature. Natural tones found in foliage, organic patterns threading through tree barks, all ignited a new visual language for Ba. They are currently on display at Ace Hotel Athens.

Upon returning to Egypt, the sketches were presented to the incredibly talented weavers, who were able to translate the hand-drawn sketches onto the loom. The result was three one-of-a-kind tapestries: Cedro, Waves and Colombia
